The subject of this bachelor thesis is a design of a family house with business premises. The building is situated at the outskirts of the settled area of a town Uhersky Brod - Ujezdec. The proposed building consists of two parts, the family house and the part designated for business purposes. It is a three-storey building with a basement, customised to accommodate 4 persons. To the business premises belong an office for a financial advisor with necessary annexes including a garage for two automobiles, which is an indispensable part of the building complex. The complex is designed as brick buildings with structural system Porotherm as the vertical supporting construction and for the horizontal supporting construction the Porotherm semi-fitted ceiling system was used. The buildings are designed with flat roofs.

This project addresses a cascade two-storey detached house with a residential unit on the 1st floor, which is designed for 4-5 people, and massage parlor on the 2nd floor. The house is to be bulit on the undeveloped outskirts of the village Větřní on a sloping land with a slant of approximately 25%. The building, including the massage parlor on the 2nd floor, is accessible from a local road. The main entrance is located on the 1st floor on the northern side of the house. It is accessible from a staircase which is protected against adverse weather conditions by a wooden pergola. Vertical structures are designed from the Porotherm system. As far as the roof structure is concerned, it combines extensive green roofing with damp proof foil roof insulation.

The house is accessed from the local road. It is designed for a family of four or five members. The entrance to the house is located in the first floor. The business premises is in the first floor and it is in the back part of the house. The roof is made as gabled roof.

The building is located in Mařatice which is a part of town Uherské Hradiště in the region of Zlín. The building was designed as a brick building with vertical structures designed from a structural system POROTHERM and concrete shaped bricks POSTA. Horizontal structures are designed from prestressed ceiling panels SPIROLL. The main building is covered with pent roof truss and the ground plan of the business premises is covered with flat roof. The building has two elevated floors and one that is below ground and occupies only part of the floor space of the above ground floors.
